About the DW Series
A fast front wing – designed for effortless take-offs at low speed, with high top-end speeds to keep up with faster swell.
The North Sonar Downwind Series front wings are maximised for low drag and longer glide while retaining the manoeuvrability required to navigate downwind swell.
The foil is shaped for high efficiency and intuitive turning with maximum ventilation resistance.
Front Wing Size DW690
The DW690 is ideal for lighter or more advanced riders or locations with strong wind and larger, fast-moving swell.
It has excellent glide, with an impressive takeoff speed and low stall speed for its size.
Pair with the S122 Stabiliser for maximum glide and increased turning responsiveness.
Front Wing Size DW750
Pair with the S192/S142 Stabilisers for maximum glide and increased turning responsiveness.
Front Wing Size DW820
The DW820 has significantly more top-end than the DW750, thanks to fine-tuning of the foil sections. It also has a lower take-off speed than the DW750.
Pair with the smaller Glide/2 Series Stabilisers for maximum glide and increased turning responsiveness.
Front Wing Size DW900
Pair with the S192/S142 Stabilisers for maximum glide and increased turning responsiveness.
Front Wing Size DW1100
